I love history. I have always read history and remember reading about Persia, and the Ottoman Empire. The Persian Empire was wealthy, extremely developed, comparable to the Roman Empire. Its sad that even the nations of Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc, do not know their own history!

He died of a traumatic head injury and his wife reported that his last words before dying were: "This didn't happen to me. This happened for me."
Even as he died, he made the choice to accept that experience positively. I find that deeply inspiring, and something I want to take on and practice in my own life. "Dropping down out of that (pitying, critical) mind and into your heart."
